  • SHOW ME THE WAY FOUNDATION TEEN VIOLENCE PSA

For Immediate Release:

Atlanta, GA

Tashawnya Menefee, President of Show Me the Way Foundation (SMTWF), is on a slightly different path in 2009-2010 with today’s youth. Alarming rates of teen violence in the community, and the staggering number of high school dropouts, has shifted the focus to encouraging and inspiring high school students to choose the Pen or Pencil as well as educating them on HIV/AIDS. “We cannot afford to lose an entire generation of youth to violence, HIV/AIDS and to high school dropouts”.

Show Me the Way Foundation is extremely excited to be endorsed by DeKalb County School Board member Dr. Eugene P. 'Gene' Walker and to partner with the National Alliance of Faith and Justice, to bring the Pen or Pencil SNCC (PP SNCC) Tour to Atlanta.
